2026-27 Band Booster Board

The Olive Branch Band Booster program is a non-profit organization consisting of parent volunteers working to support our students in their musical pursuits. The OB Band Program is a collaboration of bands including over 300 motivated students, from middle schoolers just stepping into their musical interest, to high schoolers preparing to launch into promising careers. School bands help students earn scholarships, while also offering educational enrichment beyond the classroom, including lessons in discipline, teamwork and problem-solving that students will use throughout their lives to improve their communities. By providing an organized collection of volunteers, we’re able to support OB band directors in growing a successful, enriching band program that our whole community can take pride in.

A large function of the Band Boosters is supplementation of school funds, providing the band with opportunities and resources that would be otherwise out of reach. Our fundraising efforts include the collection of community sponsorships, event hosting, game concessions and merchandise sales. In 2024-2025 our boosters raised almost $100K, which was used to pay for travel costs, competition fees, show props, student meals, and trailer repairs, and so much more!

Another integral function of the boosters is logistical and administrative support - with over 300 band students, volunteers are essential to ensuring smooth operations. Members volunteer as chaperones, serve meals, run concessions, manage uniforms, and fill a whole host of supportive roles. The band boosters are essential in bridging the gap between parents, directors and the community, offering and collecting information needed to create an effective support system for our band.
